OUR FAMILY CHAOS

We had a really nice time in Florida!!! We (Scott, Mason, and I) went to Lion Country Safari near Carrie's house and it was really cool -- the beginning was a drive-thru Safari, all of the animals are wandering free and you must keep your windows up and you can't open the doors. Then once you have driven through the Safari you go into the park. They had a few rides, some small animals, and gift shops. The birds on Scott are Lorey birds - you pay $1.50 and get a cup of nectar and they flew on your hand and they drink the nectar -- well they really liked Scott's shirt. The one bird on his shirt unbuttoned it and the one on his head was trying to eat his hair.


















Jaxon has gotten just a little chunky!!! We had to take him to the doctor while we were there because he started running fever and just didn't feel good - he had an ear infection and a cold virus -- but he weighed in at a whopping 18lbs and 10 ozs!!!
Olivia's birthday was a success and these are the cakes that Carrie made!














Scott and I also went to South Beach Miami to get him a tattoo at Miami Ink over his tattoo that he already had from a long time ago -- well I took pictures inside of Miami Ink -- if you watch the show you will appreciate them! He did not get the tattoo because they wanted $800 for a small tattoo and it wasn't by anyone on the show at night is when they said we could come and not have to apply online -- well the T.V. guys aren't there then -- why would I pay $800 from so Joe Blow to tattoo him??? Anyway it was neat to see though!

These are just pictures of the kids -- Olivia's birthday outfits and Mason and Jaxon are wearing matching Tommy Hilfiger outfits I bought them at the outlet mall. Oh and Chunky Butt has on a twelve month outfit at 5 months!! Never would have thought he would catch up with how big Mason was -- only weighing 5 lbs 15 ozs at birth (3 weeks early)-- Mason was 7 lbs 15 ozs. (2 weeks early)!!! hahaha Hope you all enjoy the pictures!!!

Since I have posted! A few things have happened lately - good and bad. I took Jaxon to the ENT yesterday to see about his ears - come to find out that he has never had an ear infection that when the pediatricians looked into his ears they saw white stuff - looked to be an ear infection, but actually is was his seborrhea in is ear canal. He scooped out this hunk of skin and then took this vacuum and sucked all this skin out. The fix is to swab his ears with baby oil to lubricate them and they will not sluff off and clog up his ears and make him irritable. Mason had his Easter party and egg hunt last Friday, Granny and I went, I took tons of pictures with him and his friends and hunting of the eggs. Then when Momma got off work Mason helped her plant flowers, took more pictures. It was over a hundred pictures with my new camera. The damn computer locked up when I was uploading them from my card and erased the whole card!!! I was on the verge of crying I was so upset. Mason is almost finished with Preschool 3 and has learned so much. He will begin Preschool 4 in August and I can't believe how grown up he already is. He is nearly 4 feet tall and everyone thinks he is so much older than he really is and all I can think of is he is still my BIG baby. I took the boys Saturday and had there Easter pictures made - so when I get them back I will send out Easter cards and pictures. I had to wait until everyone was well to have their pictures made. We go this Friday and have Spring pictures made at Norton Art Gallery -- same place we go every year and have our family pictures made - this time it is with a professional photographer and just the boys. I want to take family pictures on the beach at Carrie's - I think that will be pretty. We leave on the 17th and we are really excited. It has been 2 years since we went on a family vacation - usually Scott stays home and Mason and I would go to Carrie's - then the Boys and I went after Christmas. Olivia has really gotten big and is such a Ham! Well better run! I got a letter from TJ Maxx companies and my personal information has been compromised so I have to go call the credit bureau and put a fraud alert on my credit file and call the DMV and tell them too!! Lovely!!

Well Jaxon has been back to the doctor since my last post!! Surprise!!! hahaha He had another ear infection - number 3 since birth 3 1/2 months ago. He is still in good spirits and loves to smile and show off his dimple. He has started laughing out loud and it is really cute. The ladies at the Daycare love him to death. He just talks to them and smiles. I bought him a new car seat and he still has the car -- cries if you put him in his seat. But Mason and I tune him out and talk over him. I am glad Scott decided to fly into Ft. Lauderdale for our vacation instead of flying into Orlando and driving 3 hours to Carrie's because I don't know if I could tune him out that long!! He still sleeps through the night and is overall a really good baby -- just doesn't like the car! The ladies at the daycare said he would be fine if they made car seats that let you lay on your belly. They are soo funny!!! Today when I picked the boys up - Jaxon's teacher was riding them around in the buggy (big red buggy that holds 8 kids) up and down the hall. She said she tried to take Jaxon, but he must have thought he was in the car! So he stayed in his class and swung instead. He weighed 15 lbs 9 ozs. last week and we go back next week for his 4 month check-up and to check his ear as well. Gotta love it when Momma passes on all the bad genes to both kids! Mason and Jaxon both have my birth defect where the ear canal is not round like everyone elses it is flat so the fluid doesn't flow it backs up -- that is where the tubes come in. So I am sure we will be making that appointment soon. Mason still has his and hasn't had an ear infection since he lost his first set of tubes 3 years ago.

Mason is going to be in the BPCC (Bossier Parish Community College - where Momma works) pageant. They have Miss Tiny BPCC and Mr Tiny BPCC categories as well as the older girls. The pageant is tomorrow night and Momma took him tonight for the rehearsal. Everyone said he will win -- their are 4 boys in the competition. If he wins he wins if not oh well. But if I must say he is a cutie!!

I have been back on my diet correctly and I weighed this morning just to see and I have lost 3 lbs already!! Maybe by next month I will not look so bad in my new bathing suit that I bought. It is really cute it has like Umbro still shorts and a tankini top. I still haven't gotten to wear my new bathing suit I bought last year when I lost all my weight only to find out that I was pregnant -- but oh well I got little Jaxon out of the deal. Who would have thought I would say that a year ago -- when I was so mad to find out I was pregnant!!! But once I loose it all this time -- there is no way I am going to have anymore surprises!!!

We are waiting on our loan to begin the remodeling and I just can't wait -- I am so ready to have a fence and a deck -- along with the roof, windows, new porch, front door, and new back steps!! The fence and deck are going to be great this summer when the boys play outside. I wish the pollen would hurry up and fall and get it over with -- it is soooo messy. Mason's trampoline is covered in the junk. It will not be quite as bad once we get the three trees cut down in the backyard in a few weeks. Well I have rambled on long enough - I will let you all know the outcome of the pageant later -- it may not be until Monday because I am working all weekend.

I am so sick of the kids going to the doctor -- there hasn't been a week this past month that one or not both the kids have been in to the doctor. Scott grilled chicken on Sunday and I didn't eat it neither did Mason. Monday he was really gassy and just didn't feel good. He taught he had food poisoning from the chicken, but it was done. So he comes home early Monday from work throwing up and such. Mason gets home from School and drinks some of Scott's Gatorade and eats supper. 3 a.m. wake up call was Mason puking all over his bed. I had to be at work at 6 a.m. so I was in my bathroom doing my hair at 5 a.m. and he comes in again and starts puking on the floor -- on all fours -- poor baby. Scott is laying across the bed just watching him -- I said are you going to come clean this up I have to get to work. So off to work I go and Mason continues to be sick. So Scott took him to the doctor and took Jaxon to school. Mason had a virus, but with the virus he had these bumps on his face that they were very concerned about, because when she pushed on them they did not go lighter. If they were not better by Thursday I was going to have to take him in -- but they look better thank goodness. She prescribed him Phenergan gel to rub on his wrist so stop the nausea. I am still at work during this time!!! Mason is now hungry -- he has meds not nauseated -- Scott takes him to Wendy's and he gets Chicken nuggets and Fries, but he can't have ketchup because it might upset his stomach!!! So when I get off work I call home to see if they need anything and Scott said no he just threw up his Chicken nuggets and fries and he is trying to clean it up so he has to go ---DUHHHH!!!! So I get home and he is really hungry -- I fed him grits and toast and he didn't puke! hmmmm!! Scott if you read this I LOVE YOU, but you are just a little goofy!! haha So Jaxon the next morning wakes up and is coughing and all snotty!! damn can I catch a break. He didn't go to the doctor, because we still have medicine from last week. Hopefully it will get better!!





The boys will have there first babysitter on Saturday that is not my Mom or Granny. Momma has to work and Jaxon is to little to go sit at a Baseball tournament -- where Mason used to go. So I am having a girl from their school come and watch them on Saturday!! At first Mason didn't want any part of it. But yesterday we went and saw her and she is going to bring her stuffed puppy to play with Mason's puppy! He is fired up now! hahaha Well gotta get a shower -- going to look at the windows that they are going to install to make sure that they are what I want -- Taking Momma with me to look at them too!! To me a window is a window is a window, but she knows better than me!!! hahaha I picked out my new front door it is really pretty!!



The porch view is really pretty too -- but they do not have it on the Internet just in the catalog!

Well not to much has been going on exciting lately! Jaxon finally got rid of his ear infection after 2 1/2 weeks. He is now weighing at 14 lbs 4 ozs. and 24 inches long as of Thursday. I really haven't had time to blog -- and not much has really happened to write about. I have been trying to get bids on some remodeling we want to do and no one would show up except for one man == so we said we would just go with him, since he is willing to work!!!!! We are getting a new roof, new windows, new front porch, new front door, new reconfigured back steps, a deck, and a fence around the backyard - oh and 3 trees cut down! Lots of stuff, but we need to make the improvements if we plan to stay here. We had some pretty bad weather Saturday, but luckily the tornadoes didn't touch down by our house!! I can't think of much else to write about, because I emailed all of you the pictures of the boys -- I hope that some of them were good -- I am trying to figure out my new camera and all of its buttons!!!!
