Reassurance......

Well tonight after I got off of work I picked up Mason and mom met me at the daycare with Olivia. Carrie and Guy went to New Orleans to meet contractors about the stores down there. So I had the reassurance that I DO NOT want anymore kids. That was a pain in the butt!!! Feeding and bathing and putting to bed to much.... Well this weekend not to much happened. Carrie, the kids, and I went to our cousin by marriages kids birthday party -- outside... Hotter than you know what. We stayed about an hour and half it sucked -- so we used the excuse that Olivia was just too hot. Saturday night Mason went to spend the night with Scott's parents (he had a blast) Mom watched Olivia and we all went out to eat with Carrie's friend Christy and her husband and two kids. They were pissed that we were childless. We got through most of our dinner when Mom called and couldn't get Olivia to calm down and she was screaming hysterically!! So home we went -- we were going to go out after that for a little bit, but instead we just hung out at Mom's. Originally we were going to me them at Chuck E Cheese so the kids could play == I told Guy why the hell are we going there we don't have any kids. He said we can get drunk and play skee ball. I said okay. I have never ordered beer there, but they sell it. So anyway it was packed so we went to Pie Works a gourmet pizza place. But originally Guy wanted to watch some football game so he said that if it sucked he was going to come down with a stomach ache so we could go home so he could watch football, but then Mom called and he didn't have to fake it. So he tried to pay Mom $10.00 for having us come home -- a joke. Then he told Olivia thanks baby for helping me out. It was funny. So the guys were happy watching sports and we were hanging out on the deck.

Sunday we went and picked up Mason and he told us all about his breakfast, playing basketball with Paw Paw, washing the dishes with Nana and a number of other things that I just didn't understand. We all then went down to the Boardwalk for lunch and some shopping -- nice family outing for Mason, Scott, and me.

Mason picked out his Halloween costume -- spiderman -- didn't know to much about him until Matthew put his costume on while we were there. So he had to put it on when we got home and scare everyone. It was cute -- its the one with built in muscles and it lights up. Well then Carrie got the great idea of letting him look at himself fully costumed in the mirror and he scared the shit out of himself and wanted to take it off!!! So he may or may not got trick or treating again this year. Last year he refused to wear his costume so we stayed home.

Well I have rambled on long enough

Love ya Beth

Comments:
Kids come in real handy sometimes, don't they? Sounds like a really great weekend. Wish I could have been there. Love Ya,

That is freakin hilarious about Mason and the costume! Poor baby :(

Glad you and Carrie are being able to get to spend so much time together. I'm sure it's gonna be hard when they move away again. Have you heard from her today? Have they seen their house yet?
